If you downloaded all songs to your computer then to your ipod, try doing a system restore from a date point before you deleted. Or if your ipod has a software, arent they still on that software? I have an mp3 but I download songs to my computer first. The software for the mp3 saves all the songs in a very small file format and I can recall them whenever I want. I only have a little over 2000 songs though, but it does not take up a lot of space at all. If you have to start over, I would suggest saving them to a compressed file or a cd with a compressed file or a winzip file.

WHEN in God's name are you EVER going to find the time to listen to 10000 tracks?
Even if you take a conservative allowance of 20 tracks to an LP (don't come up with the old b/s about being Sooooo out of date...) that's the equivalent of 500 LPs, and I don't believe you've ever bought that many, so it follows that you've downloaded most of them illegally. That means you have STOLEN yes STOLEN the royalties that would have gone to the artists concerned, and the costs and profits which should have gone to the record companies.
It is for that reason that (ok, NOW) CDs and DVDs are so expensive, so I would like to thank you on behalf of us all for making us have to pay so much for our music nowadays, and I should just like to add how much I laughed when I first read your question.
Of course, if you REALLY DID DOWNLOAD ALL OF THOSE TUNES LEGALLY for your own personal use only then I apologise for casting aspersions in your direction and feel sorry at your expensive, if careless, loss.
Yeah........

Bit of a generalisation from Tim R. I am an iPod user and most of my tracks have been imported from my CD collection and the rest I've downloaded from iTunes.
Unfortunately I don't think you can undelete. How come your library is so empty???

I don't know much about IPods (as I use a regular MP3 player), but it sounds like you're screwed! What you do next time is you store everything on your computer, and then you always have a hard copy if your IPod messes up. Bad luck mate!

If only you had bought that music.. then you could just load it back up :D
99% of IPod users illegally download music.
No you cant get it back as the IPod doesnt store any file records. once its gone its gone.

Try this program, you can download it for free and see if it can find the deleted tracks. If it does you will have to buy it to recover them.
