skip the mushrooms risotto because its so delicious and heavy and you just want to eat more, then when the times comes you will be to full to f**k.

since its fall you need to utilize natures beautiful offerings like, butternut squash, pumpkin, cranberries, apples, pears, squab, duck, pheasant, chanterelle mushrooms, porcini mushrooms, black mission figs, venison, blackberries, etc

this is what you make, a frisee salad with brioche croutons, duck confit, butternut squash, toasted walnuts, and a champagne vinaigrette for an app.

for the entree make a seared salmon with sauteed leeks, chanterelle mushrooms, glazed parsnips and a red wine reduction.

for dessert a simple vanilla creme brulee would be nice serve it with nice coffee or espresso.

just keep the portions small and plate it elegantly, make sure to use hand towels when taking hot food out the oven, avoid the lobster claw pot holders when your date is around and make sure to whip some fresh creme and keep it in the fridge just in case you and your date want to bring the second dessert in the bedroom.

i would cook a roast, roast pork probably, garlic and rosemary roast potatoes and a selection of fresh seasonal vegetables. Bear in mind tho i'm a vegetarian so this would totally be to impress the other person because i cook it particularly well, and i'd only serve the meat to them of course! people are always surprised that i can cook meat so well so hopefully that would impress said individual!
