I don't have a topic since I don't know you, but I would suggest the following as food for thought: 1) What is your favorite genre? Why? How has it affected you personally? 2) What is your favorite author/poet? What qualities are appealing? How does their style work with the subjects they right about? 3) What is your favorite book (classic)? What is the theme? Tone? Character development? How do they relate to each other? Exploring symbolism would also be a good idea. 4) What is your favorite character? What qualities do they have that makes them appealing/unappealing? What is their role in the story they are found in? You could do a comparative analysis on two characters, authors, time periods, books, or genres as well. These all focus on books as they are probably the easiest to discuss. If you get into time periods/oral history/the english language, it is a lot more historical research. If that's what you're looking for, then go in that direction. But it is certainly easiest to focus on what you like. Good luck!

Do a presentation on something that you know really well. Then you won't be so nervous. Do you have a hobby or a skill that you could show? Do something interactive with the class... if part of your grade involves comments from classmates this helps. What about demonstrating origami and explaining the history of it. Audio-visual things always help.

so you can talk about anything? heh.. how about the Analyze-Division style? You're basically show people how to do a certain thing :) You can show them how to cook? how to do Origami? (those paper folding bs things..), or you could talk about yourself? your pass experience with things? (relationship?, first day at school? First time learn to ride a bike?....)

Do it on a television show that adults don't agree on to prove your point that the television show is very good and is able to teach teens. (I assume you are a teen.)
My friend did that and it was great.
