The discipline of a Tree is what man requries not the discipline of a concrete building. similarly Value is more inward oriented and biological than certain outer rules and regulations. Instilling the VALUE system means instilling the innerconnectivity with the Inner Divinity or God know what to do and what not to do? Any thoughts on these lines not just restricting to the thumb line ?

I know my mind pretty well, and can see what you mean, but...
Isn't the real question *how* do you do this? Isn't that really what all religions try to do in their own way?
The religions with 'outer' relationships can certainly develop a sense of love and forgiveness and devotion to the ultimate creator or God.
I'm Buddhist, and don't believe in God, but think I understand to some extent what mental transformation occurs to those that do believe in an external God.
And it certainly works for some people.
