Also I like to spend time with our horses. The other day we took a walk up in the hills. I take hot baths at time too.

SUPERBOOKS ANSWERS:
========================
You don't need to know what MY favorite ways to destress are, but perhaps you might want to know what many different ways to destress are, so I'll list many different ways that different people use to destress and that might be helpful to you.
Take a long walk on a warm summer's day.
Go to a bookstore and browse there for a few hours and buy a paperback or magazine for yourself.
Go hiking in the forest or in the woods.
Check out your community pages in your local newspaper and find out when the next carnival or celebration or festival is.
Visit a church that you've never been to before or visit a synogogue or temple or some other house of worship that you've never visited before.
Go camping in the state parks and forests.
Visit the ocean , the nearest clean, safe beach or lake or stream .
Buy a book about Yoga and read it or buy Yoga magazine and browse through it. Even the pictures and words in there will help you destress.
Go to an art museum and spend the day there.
Take a ride on a ferry or small boat.
Get some paper and pencil and begin drawing whatever comes to mind.
Read a book called, "Serenity".
Go online and check Yahoo answers and see what other people do to destress and try a few of those ideas yourself.
Go horseback riding.
Put your roller skates on.
Go mountain biking.
Read a catalog from Outward Bound Schools. Just reading those words and looking at those awesome pictures is a great destresser.
Read the Bible. Choose the New Testament, and there are great passages in there that will destress you in moment's time.
Go to your local YMCA and go swimming or join some other physical activities there.
Check the papers for local "WALKS" for cures , for example, every year our city has a walk for MS (Sclerosis) and MD (Muscular Dystrophy), and many other walks , including Aids walks. These walks are invigorating, and they are informational and they are good destressers. You get to be with thousands of people , all walking for a cause.
Go to your local fast food place and order lunch or dinner out for a change instead of doing all the cooking yourself.
SING! Yes, singing a few favorite songs can help a body destress.
Listen to classical music. This kind of music -with no words and no thoughts is like yoga for the brain, and a good destresser.
Talk with a great friend. That will help you.
Use sites like these:
http://www.37.com
http://www.refdesk.com
http://www.belief.net
These sites will help you destress or point you in the right direction to destress.
LOOK up these sites for great images and ideas:
the botanic garden in new york city and in brooklyn
the zoo websites
yoga websites
Pisgah forest website
Pennsylvania state parks websites
Virginia state parks websites
National parks websites
All of these or most of these are great destressers. Find the state parks in your state and go there and spend an afternoon with the trees and nature.
SLEEP. Sometimes when you are not getting enough sleep, you can stress out. So, if you are not sleeping properly, get some sleep and you'll feel wonderful.
Eat ice cream or watermelon --guaranteed destressor.
SWIM.
Volunteer at the zoo or gardens!
Teach someone to read.
Dance.
or Learn to swim .
There are hundreds of other ways to relieve stress.

It depends on what the stress is from. My top three choices are praying, punching on the wavemaster, and yoga. You gotta do what works for you, you know?
