Romans 1:19 ...for God has showed it unto them.
HEALTHY STRONG MIND OVER MATTER TO BE CELIBATE OR ANYTHING DESIRED
WHAT GOD SEES ABOUT IT
Rom.1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Rom.1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. Rom.1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Rom.1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Rom.1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, Rom.1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Rom.1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom.1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. Rom.1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: Rom.1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Rom.1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Rom.1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Rom.1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Rom.1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Rom.1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
THE MIND FROM YOUTH SHOULD BE TRANSFORMED INTO THE MIND OF CHRIST Phillip.2:5.9-12;
Gen.8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.Gen.8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.Gen.8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. 2410 years before Christ . Sodom and Gomorrah 2083 before Christ the tribe of Benjamin about 1500 before Christ Matt.10:15; 19:28; to be in Judgement day. Jer.16:12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: 606 before Christ the ability to have a decent mind power for sin is still a problem.

Tell a marine biologist why god put all those diseases in that nature without coming up with a bunch of lamebrain excuses !

Oh Absolutely!! Much the same way you take the builders of your house for granted. You look at the house when you buy it and never once ask who built it. In fact, I think its safe to say that few people even look at the way it was built. It looks right and feels right, and the price is right.
Anyone with eyes to see it can see the hand of God in nature.
To Sean D.: Do I have to see the 2 by 4s in a house before I believe a carpenter put them there? Like a builder built your house, so a Creator created nature. It is a complex world and science did not create it. Science is the STUDY of it.

Which is easier....
Putting forth the extraordinary effort, perhaps for a lifetime, to scientifically study & understand the workings of biology, chemistry, physics, nature, evolution, the scientific method, and all the theories and ideas that have led us to point we are now at, knowing that you may never have definitive answers to all your questions
OR
Read a 2000 year old book and simply believe it on faith, or for the sake of believing, because it confirms your hopes and alleviates your fears, whilst providing no proof whatsoever save it's own assertions.
I would much rather investigate nature myself, and draw my own conclusions based on the sum total of human knowledge, then take the words of an oft translated, fantastical ancient text of which we have no evidence of its authenticity.
Science can explain why a tree grows the way it does, why a spiderweb gathers dew in the morning, why the sky turns golden colors at sunset. You're just too lazy to learn these things for yourself, because it's easier for you to stay blissfully ignorant and write it all off to "god." Enjoy your bliss.
(it's interesting to note that on religious questions that solicit responses from atheists, the "anti-god" (presumably atheist) answers tend to get more approval ratings. Is this because atheists are more detail oriented and take the time to rate answers they agree with, or maybe they're just more intelligent?)

Life evolved. Without life, the earth is a rock. I don't see any supernatural work. If God wanted to make himself known, he would appear to us. It's that simple. Only the fool says that something is too complicated to ever understand. There are many things that our ancestors did not understant that we understand now. We know that stars are suns like our own. We know that eating pork isn't unclean. The earth isn't flat. The earth revolves around the sun. We know of electricity. Computers would seem like witchcraft to someone from Bible times. These ancient religious books are not useful and should be shelved next to the Illiad and the Oddesy.

Yes, they are blind.
As it is the "truth". We do not know, WHAT we do not know!
Miracles are around us daily and counting your blessing at bedtime increases the chance of seeing the "handiwork" as being a part of the action of it.
Katrina taught many about that. Natures worst, created many believers.

No one is blind, they see, they feel, they believe the work of GOD but then ignore it. Its just a way to convince themselves tht they wont be punished for anything wrong they do and deny the very existense of GOD. There are millions of things still unsolved by science tht were explained in the religious books thousands of years ago. There are things happening now tht were depicted in the religious books thousands of years ago tht they would happen.
People who do not believe in GOD have already caused a lot of damage to the world, just wait for more. Hitler, Mussolini, Karl Marx, Stalin, Lenin all were followers of materialistic no-god ideology who have so far caused the worst human disaster. Now there are Bush N Blair causing terror in the name of peace. But GOD let these people loose n strong, just to test HIS believers.
GOD is beautiful n HE loves beauty which he reflects in every of HIS creations from the sky above to the deep blue seas, from the surface of earth to the deep core benath it, from the moon n stars to the sun. Everything he creates is beautiful, everything he does is beautiful. Oh my GOD forgive these unbelievers n make them believe coz i know u forgive too in a beautiful way.

Obviously they are by the answers you've gotten so far. How could you not believe that God exists when there are so many things on earth that are just breathtaking? Like the birth of a child. Or a sunrise/sunset. There are a lot more things to list, but I don't have that much room.

Many nature lovers are too busy protecting it from people who believe that it is a "god given waste basket".
Doesn't the bible suggest that nature is only there to be used by people... also, too many religious people have their eyes set on the afterlife and are ignoring Eden as we know it....
If you ask me - the more rainforest and coral reef we destroy in our pursuit of oil, the farther from God we get...
If you want to thank God for this world, you can start by trading in your Hummer for a bicycle and recycling your vodka bottles.

I live in the mountians of NC and really appreciate the beauty of nature. But believe me it's just what happened after billions of years not the work of a spirit.
