I guess you can do the self taught way. But as with anything. There might be nuances that you will miss stuff that you need an expert eye on. Safer bet would be to do classes on and off maybe a month on the basics then take a hiatus. Then learn all the rest on your own then go back to get your forms checked.

try searching for basic yoga on any search engine, yoga can be self taught just search for- 'DIY yoga'
