Have you stopped being unfaithful to your wife? Why not?

Are you the perfect person who obeys Him each and everyday? Even Peter denied Him three times. And Peter also said "Depart from me Lord, because I am a sinful man." Christ came to call sinners to repentance.

Are you asking this question of Christians or Catholics because if you are, unless they never really believed to begin with, I highly doubt they stopped obeying HIM at any point or ever will. I know I haven't.......HE's all I have left to believe in, without HIM I'm nothing.....I'm nothing anyway but at least HE believes in me as I believe in HIM..........

You believe in the rules that govern your soul.
Christ maybe a part of that.

I believe in many things, yet my God and belief in Christ is not one of obedience like a "Dog". Its one of choice and consequences. With each action their is a reaction or ripple effect. So choose wisely.

If I have....it was not my intention.

I read the New Testament of the Bible on a reasonably regular basis. I'm not going to claim to fully understand all of the parables....but I think I understand the basic message Jesus was teaching. He was teaching us to LOVE. And slowly we learn and try to understand the message he brought us.
