Just be patient..Nature takes care of it all, and she will soon be a mommy. It isn't anything that you can rush..unless she is over 69 days....I'm sure that you are more stressed than she is...lol

the only time the trip to the vet is in order, at this stage, is if she pushes hard for 2 hours, and there is no puppy..Then it is time to worry...

A dogs gestation period is approx 63 days. If she's not showing signs of labor, panting, pushing with no results, nesting, don't worry. If she is and there is no result in about four hours take her to the vet, she may have a large puppy that is too big to pass thru, in which case they will do a c section after giving her special drugs and watching her, have her spayed at the same time they do the C-section. I hope you have homes for her babies.

If she is overdue, I would have her checked. If she is overweight, older, out of shape or has a small litter she could have primary inertia, in which case the contractions need to be started by a shot from the vet or she needs a c-section.

Get her to the vet. Sometimes they have a puppy in there that is too big and wont come out on it's own....that's what happened to my dog, and she had to have a C-section.
