I take prescription medication for migraines. One of my doctors put me on a migraine diet. Avoid excess amounts of any of the following foods;
hard cheese
yogurt
yeast (in bread or beer)
sauerkraut
pickles
olives
chocolate
sugar
processed meats (ham, salami, lunch meats)
excess caffiene
Drinking a little bit of caffiene can be good for a migraine, but too much can cause a re-bound headache.
When I get a migraine, I have to go to a dark quiet room, avoid flashing lights, shrill or ringing noises, and avoid reading or sewing. If you don't have a severe migraine problem, the diet and dark room might work for you.

props to you if you are able to do this-i always have to take medication to get rid of mine....
lie in a comfortable, dark, and quiet room. you can apply a cool washcloth to your forehead-this will help open up the blood vessels in your head and allow more bloodflow to the brain.
sleep is the best thing for a migraine if you are unable to take medication to treat it. so try resting for a few hours when you feel one starting.
you can also drink anything with caffeine in it-caffeine raises your heartrate-which in turn raises blood pressure which will also increase bloodflow to the brain to help relieve the headache
good luck to you

Relax ... rest .... sleep ...
Deep breath ... meditation .... yoga ....
Massage ... at the temple ... at the tip top of your head ... behind your ears, top of spine ... along your shoulder ... you've to get someone else to do it for you.
Water ... conscious intake of water (not soda tea coffee jucie chocolate milk etc etc) sometimes drinking insufficient water is the cause of headaches too ...

Coke-a cola(cold), a snickers (not any other brand, only this works), a cold shower, a dark room with a breeze.
