The sack lunches my mom made were pretty standard - sandwich, chips, cookie, fruit, juicebox. I'd eat the chips at recess and usually throw the fruit away.

I got to thinking the other day: what is the worst lunch a mom could make? Keep in mind the basics -- a main dish, something salty, something sweet, and something to drink. What's the worst possible combination, Nutritionally speaking

Yah, that ol' Spam sandwich (there's your salt), on white bread w/Miracle Whip; an orange (who wants to peel that?); box of KoolAide or fruit flavored drink; cheap tired cookies that don't even taste good.
I used to get baloney sand on white, banana, cookies, milk was given @ school. Every day. On Friday, tuna. Bore-ing.

No Lunch. Be grateful your mom could afford to feed you. At least 20 kindergarteners at my daughter's school come each day with nothing to eat.
