Vacuum ALL your carpets DAILY, Bathe your cat at least once every week (like every Sunday night) Frontline is good but "resolution" is best and one of the TOP flea ridders. MUST flea/bug bomb your home. Spray in and out of your home, around window seals. Your cat is having a allergic reaction to the flea bites and NEEDS EMERGENCY care IMMEDIATELY!

My cat licked and chewed all the hair off by her tail, on her belly and all over her legs. and her entire head was covered with scabs and puss. PLEASE, take your cat to the vet, ask about the "Resolution" product. It's droppers. Try that first before you ask for the "Spray Resolution" since spraying liquid towards your cat, it may get skiddish and scratch you. (Tip; The droppers have a baby oil scent)

Here's some more information for you that may be of help for you and your furry precious critter.

You asked about getting Frontline cheaper. Frontline is expensive but I know that I save about $20 versus my vet's price on a 6 month pack by using the link here http://factipedia.com/pets/

Frontline needs 24 hours to kill fleas; that still leaves plenty of time for fleas to hop on and cause dermatitis. You need to de-flea your house and keep her inside.

Take her to the vet first! He can diagnose what is causing her pain to the point of self-destruction. It could be anything, not just fleabite dermatitis.

What about her food? My cat is allergic to foods that have that red coloring in it. She would break out with scabs. You might want to ask a vet. If she has allergies, you may be able to get a shot for them.

Do u have a vet? Another thing to think about it this: A doctor can't make an asumption sometimes with having "bloodwork" done. Please do what's right for yr cat. Animal-Lover!
