Depending on your particular circumstance, it will evolve around finding the very things in LIFE that make you feel happy. Unfortunately too many people are caught up in the "rat" race of modern day life . . . wake up early, work all day, come home tired, make dinner, take care of the kids, pay the bills . . . everything revolves around hurrying to get this done, or hurrying off to another chore, not to mention the shopping, buying new gadgets, watching TV, but NEVER really finding that special PLACE of COMFORT for YOU! Some people find PEACE and contentment in religion or Chrsitanity, and others seek outlets that they feel will enrich their Lives. I think personally, the BEST way to feel contentment and to learn patience, is to get out of the "rat" race and move to a very rural area where life runs in the "slow" lane. Back to the basics. Pets too, will comfort you and are good to have for periods when you need a friend and yet are very alone. Try to make every moment count, and GIVE of yourself as much as you can to help others in need. Read stories or articles of people who are in much worse circumstances and yet still find "sunshine' when it rains. Practice smiling to strangers, you never know how it may affect their life on a day when they are feeling depressed, and letting them have the right of way. Get in the practice of complimenting people and saying nice things to them on a daily basis, even strangers. Good Luck! Laura

well, it all comes from the relization that we all go back one day to where we came from... clay.
I think most of the discontent and impatience comes from seeing OTHERS IN A BETTER POSITION THAN OURSELVES. You feel the need to match the level of the other individaul, maybe its the new promotion they got or the new house they bought. We are always in a constant competition against the world. Let go and relax. You can take the money or other tangibles with you to the grave mate!
Concentrate on the MOMENT AND THE PRESENT. Our minds are so preoccupied that we fai to notice the beauty of life. Live in the present... as for tomrrow, you'll cross the bridge when u come to it!

The BIBLE says, in 1 Timothy6:6-8 But godliness with contentment is great gain.(verse 6).For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothingout of it.(verse 7). But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that(verse 8). The BIBLE says,in 1Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. ( JESUS CHRIST is the answer for a discontented heart and impatient attitude.Ask JESUS in your heart right now and confess HIM with your mouth as your LORD and SAVIOUR and believe in your heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead you will be saved. The BIBLE says,in Romans 10:9).

take this as my friendly advice...it gives peace of mind and a healthy living.why?sometimes the things we have in our life is already our soul purpose of our daily living.we dont need too much in order to satisfy ourself.the best of this friendship and love gives out the best of us...we just go blind to our greedy deeds and selfishness that is why a good person became the worst of it.patient resolve even the worst case scenario of our life how? if you be patient to your work to the people that you work for.you will just realize you just got your promotion.the best of that you earn another level of maturity...thanks
