What time of day you wake up is not as important as how many hours of sleep you get. How much sleep you get depends on your age. Teens may need as much as 10 hours of sleep per day, while elderly people may need as few as 5. Over sleeping often causes a person to feel overly tired. If you're sleep interferes with what you need to, or should, be doing during the day (working, going to school studying, etc.) you need to adjust the time you get to bed.

since you sleep at 6 am and wake up at 3 pm, that gives you 9 hours of sleep. Good sleep is 8 to 10 hours of sleep. Sleeping is a way for your body to repair itself. BUT it is triggered by darkness and when you sleep at day time, some light still passes through your eyelids. so make sure you cover your eyes with something.

sleep at least 6hrs a day, thats what i do.... there's no harm in sleeping late... but the result would be decreased cognition, high BP and slowed alertness. drink more vitamins (esp vit e and b-complex) and try to get rid of the coffee after 7 in the evening... and eat meals with meat or during bedtime drink a warm milk (has a protein sedative that would help you to sleep)

Sleeping late is not unhealthy. It only makes one tired if body did not need much sleep and makes one feels good and energized when longer sleep was required.

no, you're body will get use to whatever schedule you give it. it doesn't care if you sleep when it's light outside or dark. as long as you get enough sleep to replenish yourself
