I also have OCD and I've been meditating for 3 years using a powerful technology-assisted method of meditation. I remember the first thing I noticed, only about 3 days into it, was that one of the things I had been doing with words for probably 2 years or more, I just dropped. Althought it was sometimes funny, by this point, it was just about always annoying. The thought came up and before I even started to say the word in my head, it just dropped off. That was the first time I could remember doing that.

The changes have all been subtle, but they've continued all this time. This is only one of the many benefits of meditation. They're all subtle but profound.

Cure is the wrong word, but they will get much better over time. I highly recommend the system I'm using. From day 1, you'll be in a deeper meditative state than even the most experienced of meditators. It's quite an experience - very pleasurable too. There are many, many levels. It would probably take you around 10 years to complete them all. Everyone's experience is different, but sooner or later, everyone experiences the same things. It's one-of-a-kind. It's been around for about 16 years and there's only one competitor that I've seen and it's nowhere near what this is. You can do a 20 minute demo at the site. Here's the URL:

Meditation For Ocd

I am also an OCD sufferer. It is a bout 5 months a decided not to use medicines. I have started to write down all that is going on in my head. I have also searched a lot. Contrary to what doctors say, I would like to add: OCD is not a disease - it is temporary malfunction of a filter in the brain. I believe (depending on my observations and search) all come from subconsiousness which is 'full of dust and dirt' because of weakness of consciousness. OCD-laziness of consciousness. I have started mediation. and I am going to continue with it +autotraining. I strognly believe it will help. Plus, when fightign against OCD you also change yourself. IT means that the situation, which cause you obcessions may not cause them again in future, since you know how to deal with it. again, I strongly believe, it is curable. I red several stories of people who treated it. Curing OCD is all about changing you mind, brain and character. IT takes long, surely. But for healthier life you should be ready for that. Good luck and a lot of patience for us in overcoming it.

Medication alone will ease the obsessions and the corresponding anxiety and depression, however it will not CURE it unfortunately..

I guess there is no real cure for OCD as such, but in order to manage it most successfully, you need to try a combination of medication and cognitive-behavioural therapy.

That's not to say you're stuck with OCD forever, it will get better over time, but it is typically a waxing and waning disorder and it usually lurks around from time to time - you get more used to dealing with it.. It's not so bad! :)

Good luck.x

Can help, just make sure your meditation doesn't end up being an internal OCD rant about locking the front door or something... My bol does to get in touch with God (he's in seminary), but I've never heard him so much as mention his OCD, so I can't apply the situation to yours.

Meditation can cure anything. Sound crazy? Consider that meditation is for the mind, and the mind controls your whole body and essential everything you know. Gain proper control over your mind and it's thoughts and you can do anything.

You must check out Jack Grave's "Ejaculation Guru" tutorial on how to stop premature ejaculation, check out his video here: http://www.ejaculationguru.tv

It explains how to end premature ejaculation for good. It’s basically a blueprint on how to develop natural control over your ejaculation. It actually reprograms your ejaculatory reflex so that you last longer without even trying.

It involves a combination of techniques, learning knowledge, and following a specific approach that attacks premature ejaculation from all three angles; the physical, mental, and hormonal. I was able to cure my premature ejaculation problem in only 2 weeks and I never had a problem again.
