Its at a point were ppl are just being mean and rude. Most Christians are just nice little humble folks who keep to themselves.Yes I have said it b4 I will be saying it a lot more in the future. We need to get back to the basics the stuff you learned in 3rd grade being respectful, and showing class and good manners. We are so busy trying to be so freaking "deep" and clever that we forget to treat ppl like you would want to be treated its simple folks.

My, my, my! Have you ever considered that all the Bible thumping is equally offensive to others? This isn't the "Minions of Jesus" forum, it's Religion and Spirituality.

Whenever an atheist posts here, or a Pagan, or a Jew, a Muslim, Buddhist, or Hindu; Christians are right there quoting scripture and being disrespectful to others beliefs with their condescending posts. You all really have no reason to complain about it when someone else does it to you!

Didn't Son-of-Sky-Daddy say something about not worrying about the speck in someones eye until you remove the log from your own? Maybe if you tried cleaning up your own house as an example, something productive might come out of this whiney-@ss question...

Food for thought.

Oh they are are they. maybe the small minority of true Christians are .but the rest deserve all that they get . for Killing other people just because they wouldn't join their religion voluntarily. And they borrowed bits and pieces of other Religions to do this with. and made a mess of what Christianity is supposed to be about.
Yes They need to get back to the basics of what they are supposed to be about. Keeping the words and deeds of Jesus pure and true until the Jewish people accept Jesus as their true and only Messiah. Are you listening you Gentiles.Follow what your Lord God told you to do and quite trying to takeover the world.

I think that is a two way street. All the Christians should learn to treat people who don't believe in god with respect as they do anyone else and stop trying to convert people who don't want to be converted. It's a two way street, you can't have one if you aren't willing to give the other.

I am christian, and I don't mind the mean people because it just shows me that the devils around or in people are being up set. I am not here to convert anyone, but to "sow the seed" and help encourage other christian to stay strong in the faith. If one person hears the word of God and have to attack the bringer of the word it shows us christian that God is real. Jesus said "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belong to the world, it would love you as its' own. As it is you do not be long to the world, but I have chosen you out the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you; No servant is greater then his master. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also."(John 15: 18-20) For evey comment, I pray.

Every single person has the right to ask or debate constructively about someone's elses beliefs, but no its not right to treat them rudely. Nor is it fair that christians or any religion for that matter criticise agnostics or atheists cruelly.

Its a two way street, not one.

Most fundamental christians on here are NOT "just nice little humble folks who keep to themselves". Most would slit the throat of someone who disagrees with them, if they could reach through the 'puter screen, and say God told them to.

These nice little humble folks are saying others are going to hell to be deep-fried and frightening little children with end of the world propaganda. Actually they're fortunate that we don't take legal action against them (yet).

i agree. we should all give eachother a break. here is an answer i gave to another question that is also kind of relevant to yours.

"isnt athiesm just another religion?"

lol, thats a funny idea and probably a correct one. which is exactly why i choose faith over religion. i dont get caught up in man-made tradions or trying to convert people. if they see in me what they feel is missing in their life, then i will explain it to them. but i wont expect anyone else to be a christian just because I think its the right thing to do. accepting or rejecting eternity is their own choice. shoving crap down peoples throats will only make them choke. which is why i dont see why athiests or any other "religion" try so hard to make their point. people cant see it if their eyes are closed. i think they go way overboard and tend to get really rude, which isnt going to convert anyone.

Sure.

If you can police your misguided Christian brothers and sisters from bashing humble Muslim folk who have done nothing against them and who are not involved in terror activities. Don't insult us we won't insult you.

Peace.

Yes, I agree with your overall sentiment. Yet I see a profound lack of depth in the atheist-Christian "diaogue" on this forum. There is no dialogue generally, just simultaneous rants. While both sides reveal their faults plainly enough, the atheists commonly represent the trolls who set the bait to begin conflicts. What are atheists doing on a forum called religion and spirituality when they believe in neither? They are here to bait theists into their bizarre thought patterns which primarily revolve around hate. Too often, Christians take the bait. ARRRGH!
