Don't tell me it's so we may have everlasting life. If He made us this way and gave us free will, then doesn't He share some of the blame for our misdeeds? Shouldn't He ask *our* forgiveness for stacking the deck against us and beg *us* to stay in Heaven with him? At the very least, that door should be wide open for us--not questions asked--shouldn't it?

My answer would be that God gave us a wide open door by giving Adam and Eve everything in the Garden of Eden. When Adam and Eve decided to disobey Him (they had to have free will so their love for God would not be robotic, you know.), but when they sinned, they could no longer be in union with a perfect God. They made the decision to seperate the human race from God, so I can understand you're mad - you can be mad at them or at the serpent. :)

Anyway, even though through the ages, men rejected God and hated God, he still provided a way to get everyone back to Him, by sending Jesus. Now anyone who says, "yeah, I can't be perfect, but Jesus was, so I'll take a ride on his coattails" now has a friendship with God. That's what it's all about. Going to confession is not what gets someone to heaven, neither is being perfect, because none of us are. But accepting that someone would actually die out of love for you, and saying yes to that, that's what can change your whole life, and your eternity. God provided Jesus because of His love for us, so we wouldn't have to always be guilt ridden with all the things we do wrong. And then, you'll see, you get a brand new deck. Believe me, I have.

P.S. God is begging you - to accept the sacrifice He gave. He can't do it any other way becuase he's a God of His Word.

No. Because you made that choice and not Him. He told adam and eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge and disobey Him. If I were God, I will rather destroy every human race because for thousands of years people disobey God.

Have you played sims before? Create a character ask him to do this and that so he will be successful. When you just ignore the sim, the sim will just go bad. Not going to work and all that.

You want God to be that horrible creator who just controls you to do everything his wants? No right? He gave you a choose to be with him or not. God is patient. He even send his son to die for us. You think he doesn't want to us to go to heaven? But are you going to be in heaven for the right reasons? For his love or your selfish reasons of everlasting life? Reflect on what God wants us to achieve in this lifetime on earth.

Sounds to me like you don't know the Word of God very well at all. You need more study time and prayer time wouldn't hurt either. All you answers and concerns are in the volume of the Book. Allow God in when you read and He will fill your spirit with His.
You have a lot of hurt inside of you. God did not do any of this to us. It started with Satan and his then those 1/3 who followed him and led us to this world age we are in now.
God gives us a way back to Him through His Word, Jesus Christ.
Its a gift of love. Grace if you will. That's what we live in now, a world full of the Grace of God. And its there for the asking and choosing.
God loves us all so very much. But, if we choose not to accept His son Jesus Christ then we become nothing to Him and were gone in the end.><>

So your saying that "God mad me like this. Sin is His fault." is that what your saying. If it is, hear me out.

If saying something like that won't work in a civil court, it certainly won't work on Judgment Day. Even with an expert defense lawyer, it would take a pretty inept judge to fall for the old "God made me do it" defense. We are responsible moral agents. The "buck" stopped at Adam. He tried to blame both God and Eve for his sin; Eve blamed the serpent. It is human nature to try, but it doesn't work with God.

No, because your primary aim here is to worship him.
When you go astray you sin.

He gave you free will so you could choose between right & wrong, good & bad, something you do daily!

Think, However long you saty here, you'll stay much longer up there. Would you go to an exam you were not prepared for......

He made us with free will..then adam and eve tried to become "God" and disobeyed the one rule, so we are now sinners with a free will, you don't have to ask for forgiveness but God sent his son so you could..and therefor not have to burn in hell.

First we need to define which God. The word of God tells us that there is one God,one Lord one savior. He is creator, He is righteous, merciful, full of grace, He is truth and faithful and judge of all men. God's word describes Him as Father, The word (also known as the son of God, Jesus) and Holy Spirit. There is so much more..
But why should we ask God to forgive us our sins? Because He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness. If we say we are without sin we are saying God is a liar. God's love was demonstrated once. The word in John 3:16 is not loves but loved (past tense) God demonstrates His love whilst we were yet sinners Christ died.
The world is condemned already and God's wrath abides on all who do not believe in Jesus Christ. Everyone deserves death and eternity in the lake of fire. Saying sorry to God must go hand in hand with believing in Jesus christ. Jesus means savior, Christ means chosen. The word who is God we read in John1 became flesh, Immanuel (God with us) became a man in order to be the savior of all who believe in Jesus. Acts 4:12

I like the way you think.

I don't need to ask god for forgiveness... I ask forgiveness from those whom I have wronged. That's what apologies are for.

lol. no.

god is like a parent to us. we have this chance to live our life here on earth, like a child growing up. its our decision whether we want a relationship with him after that. all he wants is us to acknowledge our sins. its part of the growing up process. just like if my daughter were to steal a bunch of my money or something, i wouldnt just say "its ok, its my fault, there are no consequences" i would make sure that she knew what she did was wrong, punish her accordingly, but not hold it against her.
