How long should I turn down dates and reject men's advances to be sure when a man comes along that holds my interest, he knows I'm a good girl?
I am 34 years old. Been in bad realationships. Looking for a good man now, but scared if I date now, when a man I'm really impressed with comes along he will think I've been screwing around and not want me.

If he likes you then he accepts everything about you. It's better to shop around then wait for the store to come to you.
I would date... But, I am concerned about the bad relationships... you need to trust yourself and what I mean by that is trust that you will find a good man. Trust that you will listen when the red flags start flying... and Trust you will know when to call it quits! If you can trust yourself then you will find it easier to find the "good" men... Don't sacrafice anything and don't ignore the signs!!!
You can do it.. just trust yourself.

You dont have to keep turning men down so that they know you're a "good girl". Just be frank with your feelings and beliefs. Have conversations where you mention your feelings. For example: "i just think thats so slutty when women have sex with men they barely know---i'd have to be in a serious relationship for months before i get that involved." (or whatever your particular belief may be) Also---are you turning them down for no reason? I mean obviously, turn down the ones that arent worth your time, but if a man comes along that seems nice, and genuine, why not give it a try?

dont be so scared of that, if he comes along he could steal you away from whoever your dating, it would be that much more exciting for him anyway, and it may make it eaisier for you to find him, because it always seems that you meet the good ones when you with someone, if you dont want to get serious with who your dating, just tell them that you looking for mr right, but ya you want to still go out.

That would have made since when your grandmother was dating. If a guy is going to judge you on your prevous dates then he isn't that good man you are looking for.

Just make a desicion ! its better to make a wrong one,
than to not make one at all...Besides .. You might get laid in the process !!
