I agree with you. It seems half of the people on here can't spell, and there is a spell check!!! I actually read a few weeks ago somewhere online that this generation can't spell that well due to the fact that almost everyone uses cell phones and text messaging. And with the texting, they are charged by the character, so they make it as short as possible. Then it reflects on everything that they write or type. It's bugs me sooooooo much! lol But, what are we to do? I am glad to see that someone else notices this as well. Have a great day/night!

Oh GOSH! Its pretty annoying, but i seriously think some of the people asking questions on here are not english speakers. SERSIOUSLY. Some of the people are just idiots or kids that think its cool to type in slang, but i do think a percentage actually speak very little english.

Perhaps the issue is related with carelessness and being lazy... And probably chasing time, so much so that spelling is of the last priority. Here, point matters more than spelling it correctly. Besides, this is not a graded test.. :)

I hnoetsly bleieve taht popele who cmoe on tihs stie are so fcuking lzay and hvae been thier whloe lvies. Tehy hvae had sepll cehck snice tehy were cihlrden on their cmopuetrs and qiute farknly I hvae had a gtuflul. Why cna't poelpe fcuking sepll? Mybae it's the taecehrs in the shcools. Some people just spell the way they talk, some are simple typos and some just don't care. It irritates me at times, but even myself I'll intentionally misspell a word just for visual effect.
Don't let it get to you. As long as you can read it, just sit back and get a good laugh from it! :-)

I've been wondering that myself. I know for a fact its not only the younger people. i usually skip the capital letters and punctuation because its faster, i do try to spell the words correctly.

Lazy, dimwitted kids and others who can't be bothered LEARNING anything, even how to use spell checker. Then they get mad when you tell them they are nearly illiterate, and throw temper tantrums. The little brats are apparently not supposed to be corrected, only praised. Go figure! We have a world of illiterate idiots out there.

i think its because their lazy. they think that it would be easier to put da instead of the or wutchu instead of what are you and then when they try to use big words they don't know how to use them correctly and spell them. Its a big fit of laziness, but most people online, well in the world, dont suffer from laziness, they enjoy every minute of it!
