YES its good to drink slightly warm water with lemon and honey (no salt). be careful to add the lemon and honey after warming the water and not while warming it as it will destroy the vitamins in lemon and turn honey toxic.
this drink helps increase the metabolism of ur body, flushes out toxins, decongests ur osophaegus, improves skin texture and also brings about a marginal weight loss. many people swear by it. it is also recommended by ancient ayurveda science.
just make sure u consume it first thin in the morning and not eat or drink anything else for the next 1 hour.
try it for a month and u'll see a difference

Agrees that some of the comments here are completely ignorant and un-educated responses. The body was not intended to digest all the processed chemicals we are slamming into it every day. The salt water flush and the Master Cleanse in general are not gimmicks for sale. This information is free and available to anyone who wishes to seek out a healthy alternative to purging one's self of all the gunk and goo lurking in the body. You are using too much salt. If 2 tsp is not getting any movement GRADUALLY increase the salt but not to such extreme amounts. I cannot stand salt water but i get it down and it works great. If you cannot drink it I have seen many people suggesting to put the sea salt into capsules...just make sure you follow them up with the right amount of water as it is important. Good luck and if you have any other questions go to facebook. There are many great groups out there all happy to help and non-abusive. I reccommend Reach4Raw as those guys are super helpful.

No. I do not think, so. It will add to acidity. Most of the food, we eat increases, lot of acid. Best thing is, take plain water, in empty stomach, stored in copper vessel, overnight. At least, litre of water, to be consumed. It will, neutralise the acidity and improve bowel movement. After, bowel movement, you can have salted lemon tea or water, if you wish to , decrease your weight.

A lot of singers use lemon to clear there vocal cords. I do think that continued use of this mixture will eventually lead to stomach irritations. So be careful not to overindulge.

actually lemon juice has a higher ph than stomach acid, that is it is less acidic. so actually lemon juice would act as a mild antacid. the only food more acidic than stomach acid is lime juice. however the salt could cause nausea.
