FREE SOLUTION: first of all, I hate iTunes but it will do the trick. Install iTunes and then add the songs you want to convert to the library. There is a right-click option to convert to MP3. If it says convert to AAC or anything else, go to Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Importing and change the drop down box to MP3.
