When you stop feeling...

Love is about emotions.

And some say that when it's true love, it never fades.
And that's true but that doesn't mean that you never fall out of love.
You can love someone but not be IN love with them.

And you'll know when that's happened because of the way you feel.

You know it's over when you let things slide in a way you never used to, when you've lost all trust, when you just don't...feel it.

Couples who no longer see the point in arguing. If it isn’t worth communicating that your relationship is falling short of your expectations, on some level you are making the decision to give up. Once you’ve checked out emotionally, you face a slow, non-confrontational death of what was once a meaningful partnership. Do yourself a favor. If you can’t find it in yourself to fight to be together, make your peace by going separate ways.

It's over when you realize that not having to ask that question makes you more free and self-empowered than anything before. It's over when you have the desire to learn who and what you are without the unnecessary constraints of an obviously premature relationship. It's over when you are able to look at the situation objectively and not subjectively.

After you go through the phase of wondering if its over you get to a point where you know, without a doubt, its over. It isn't about seeing someone looking at someone else or someone saying one thing or another or any particular fight. Its just something in your heart and mind that knows its over, done, gone, and not coming back.

when you could look at the other person without thinking or hoping that you could be back together. it's when you finally accept that truth that sometimes, things just don't turn out the way we want them to be. it's sad but we have to accept the fact that some things are not just meant to be ours.

It's never over. You will always have a piece of them somewhere in your head. The only way it ever really ends is if both of you get amnesia.
