There are several ways to get from LAX to the Carnival Cruise terminal in Long Beach. The simplest is to purchase the transfers from the cruise line directly. Then they will get your flight info and have someone at the airport to retrieve you when your flight comes in.

The second way is to get some sort of individual ground transportation on your own. If you do a Yahoo! search for LAX Ground Transportation you will get lots of listings for different companies that provide service to/from LAX. I prefer hiring a car, especially if you have lots of luggage. Definitely nicer than taking a cab.

The last way only works if you are coming into town a day before your cruise. If you are staying at a hotel in Long Beach, they may have transportation to pick you up at the airport, as well as take you to the ship.

Your transportation options are even better if you fly into Long Beach Airport. You may even be able to find a port shuttle service that goes there.

Good luck and Happy Sails!

From LAX: Travel southbound on the San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405), then southbound on the Harbor Freeway (Interstate 110). Exit at Harbor Boulevard and proceed straight through the Harbor Boulevard intersection. Turn right to enter the World Cruise Center.

Here is the address

LONG BEACH TERMINAL
231 Winsdsor Way
Long Beach, CA 90802

I would suggest calling quick shuttle or a taxi service. I wouldn't go with a taxi that runs a meter, but a service that has a flat fee like towncars.

Call the cruise line or the travel agent who did the booking, they should be able to arrange a transfer for you at a very reasonable price.
That's what we do.

it is open. Parking is $12 an afternoon. it is typically better to stay at a hotel in one day and pay for his or her parking applications that are approximately $50 each week. i would be cruising in January and could pay approximately $one hundred on the Vagabond hotel to park for 2 weeks (plus hotel for one night at approximately $70). meaning for related to the same fee as terminal parking i'm getting parking and a night interior the hotel. ? ??l???q ?

We cruised out of there last year. Just take a taxi from the airport or your home, whichever you are leaving from.
