Should girls be more intiative??

Question

I get to know a guy recently at my cousin's birthday party. He's my cousin's friend. We were chatting happily that night. But we din exchange numbers. I find him quite an interesting guy to know... So i hope to make him as my fren. But im not those intiative kind of girl towards this. What shall i do?

i know now is a new century but i still find it hard to do so. I cant face rejection in reality... Is so embarrassing!!

Well, maybe have a barbecue or cocktail party and ask your cousin to invite him. Maybe your cousin could let him know you're interested him calling you and you don't really feel comfortabe calling a man. I was raised a man should call the woman, so I know where you're coming from. I feel very uncomfortable calling a man for the first time. I prefer him call me and if he doesn't, I feel a bit or maybe alot disappointed at times,. But, oh well, his loss!LOL

First of all it's"take more initiative". Secondly get use to rejection. We live in a world where people are either going to like you or not. If they don't like you then so what.
