he mentioned it before and now has stopped. I always like to know where it is going and approx when... i like to have a plan and make sure I am not 'wasting my time' and giving my heart up to be broken...
How do I approach this subject breezily?

Don't know that you can, but when the opportunity presents itself, just ask. But try to ask in a way that doesn't sound pushy or desperate~just very matter of fact.

Tell him what you wrote here, if you have to have some 'plan'. But you can't 'plan' a relationship. There are way too many variables to be able to. If what you are asking is if he loves you, ask him. Do you love him? Tell him. Communication is something you need to work on. All relationships can't work on playing a guessing game. In loving another, there is always the fear of getting a broken heart. You can't have one without the other. Speak up and ask him.

Um. Breezily is what's going on now right? You don't know because you're not asking? And odds are you're not asking because you're fearing something.Don't fear an answer that you're not wanting. Why? Because you deserve more than that and should think more of yourself. Just ask him. Straight out ask him and quit this "breeze" stuff. You're wasting time by not asking so just ask him and quit wasting time.

well if i can be so brass ur first mistake is trying to plan love doing that takes all the zing out of a relaionship second just mention it

I say ask him are we going anywhere and if he answers you back then stick around and see if ya'll do and if he doesn't answer then leave. Trust me when you just wait for the relationship to go somewhere it doesn't and you just get your heart broken.

Once you are out with her discuss about your future plans, your children, your house making, your future plan to deal with your relations etc.

people change sometime... sometimes it's just a blink of an eye... be ready always... don't expect too much for yourself... it's hard to be heartbroken... it seems to kill you... just be at a normal expeculations... just enjoy life... time will tell... you'll have your wonderful life with the right person who will love you more than you do... you cannot please everybody!

dont plan just let it flow when you put too much thought into it you will end up stressing just let it work on its own
