It's all depends on the type of questions. If you ask for the sake of seeking knowledge, Muslims will sincerely reply to your questions. But if it is meant to antogonize, then of course you will get negativity.

Becasue people hate what they dont understand. How many people that write all the negativity about the Muslim faith have actually read the Quran? If they had then they would have alot more respect for Islam. I mean, how can you consider yourself a good Christian or whatever religion you are, and absolutely desicrate anothers beliefe system. How can you say Muslims preach hate, when on this site so many of us American Christians do nothing but spew line after line of hate. And when you do speak out for another religion other than Christianity, you are either labeled a Muslim, or, someone actually said this, a "Muslim Lover." Im neither a Muslim or a "Muslim Lover", but I can tell you what I am. Im a human being who believes that everyone, no matter what religion, deserves equal respect. How else can we come to understand each other. We are all brothers.

I didn't know answering bigoted, prejudicial racist questions with facts and truth was considered negativity. Or is that only the perception of the misguided Christian population who can't or won't be policed by their own.

If questions were meant to seek genuine answers, then these would be answered in a genuine fashion befitting it.

Unfortunately, most Qs regarding Islam and Muslims are filled with ignorance, hate and generalizations.

Sad but true.

Peace.

Muslims are particularly sensitive to criticism at the moment. Their religion is receiving a lot of negative attention in the news. Even normal curiosity can set off their alarms and trigger an over reaction.

The vast majority are not violent, but the violent are all Muslim. And it is in the name of their religion that they are perpetrating their crimes against society. It is understandable both the criticism of Islam and their defensiveness. My problem with Muslims is the lack of outrage against the Muslims who operate in such horrific ways. It is not to Israel and America and the rest of the West that they should be addressing any denunciation, but to the Muslims who justify their hatred and murder in the name of their faith.

Mainly because of the actions of a small group of Muslims. I think allot of people are very scared and very hurt because of recent events. Also most Americans see Islam as alien.

I looked at YOUR questions and 5 of 7 are very biased in the question statement. Therefore you are getting hostile responses to hostile 'questions'.

I imagine the Muslims on this site, being faced with dozens of questions like "why does your religion teach hate?", would get pretty angry sometimes. I would too.
