Snowbear and Hana have mated three times that I know of
in the past few days. Shouls I keep them apart- even though they seem to want to mate again? Shouldn't she be
pregnant already?
PS I know I should never pull them apart-I mean in separate rooms.

Don't be cruel.
You only separate carnivorous mates

Well, dogs are supposed to be mated only two days apart. There is a reason for this. The B will whelp from the first mating.
If you mate too long after this, any subsequent puppies will not be full term.

The final week of pregnancy means a lot to a puppy, the skeleton is the last to develop. If your B whelps too early, that is by 5 days the pup can die as it is not developed enough.

Yes, separate.

Also do some more research on breeding before you do this again. Obviously you are a novice.

Was this a planned breeding? Did you have progesterone testing done to determine when she ovulated? The more often that they mate within a short period of time, the less fertile the male is so the less likely she will become pregnant from each successive mating. If you want to increase the chances of her conceiving (hopefully this is a planned breeding by healthy animals that are good examples of their breed standards and are registered with known healthy pedigrees) you should separate them and allow them to mate no more often than once per day or give them a day rest in between. Knowing when she ovulated is your best chance of conceiving because it will be more likely to work with just one breeding.

It's too late. You should've kept them apart before they mated, so you wouldn't contribute to the problem of pet overpopulation.

that's definately closing the barn door after the horses are out
if they have already mated then just leave them alone they'll quit when they get tired

She will only accept the male for a certain time so I wouldn't be too concerned.
