Your god mythology is all fine and good for you, but it is not fact. The earth is billions of years old. That's a fact.

All things are possible.

I'm a Hindu and Hindus believe that the entire universe manifested from God (thus like creationism and intelligence design the universe has a source, a creator), but the sacred texts then describe the process as begining very small (with matter and energy) and combining together over time to develop larger and larger and more and more complex things. Hindus calculate the universe at being approximately 261,273,600,000,000,000,000 years old and the Earth to be approximately 4,315,000 years old. It's not exactly what evolution and science calculate, but it's closer. Hinduism seems to combine some aspects between the two thoughts within its ancient theology and Vedic sciences on the matter. I am sure with time that Christianity will do the same.

Great question. Peace be with you.

In 2Pet. 3:8 it says ...that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Where in the bible does it say "the day YOU can see your own spirit, will be the day you can see God's"?
What has any of this have to do withe evolution or createism?
By the way they both aren't right! Evolution is a fools dream.

Not quite that way. the Jews/ Christian Bible says that to GOD a year is like unto a day and a day is like onto a year. In other words GOD lives in an eternal NOW. and also created and controls time.We still do not know what time really is other than the systems we invented to measure a period of movement. to mark days and years.
Yes that is true . But what you are seeing is but a small facet of the CREATOR . AS IT made the souls of all that was and will be from its own body before the creation of the physical universe.

Its a matter of approach: science requires evidence. Theories are used to explain a bunch of seemingly unrelated facts and are use to predict future events. By no means is evolution close for discussion and if people feel that it is unconvincing, they need to supply proof to disprove it or not....whether it does or does nt disprove evolution is inconsiquential because it is done in a scientific manner.

However, the religious approach does not require evidence as it does belief. How can you set up experiments to prove Gods existence? To make a statement saying, some force had to create everything is not scientific as you can't make understandable predictions of future events but only things happen because thats how it is supposed to work.

By no means am I putting down belief and religion...science cannot answer many things due to human limitations and cannot ask questions that they cannot test so sometimes, their answer is simply, we dont have enough information to draw a conclusion. Religion can act to fill in this void and uncertainity that we have.

So it is a matter of approach... your statement that "1 day to God is 1000 years to us" is a belief statement in that, how can we prove 1 day to god is in fact 1000 years to us and it is unscientific to state that a God actually exists as you cannot really test for it. It is appreciated that you try to find a common ground between evolution and creationism but one, creationism, needs a lot more factual support to become scientifically valid. And as you implied by linking bible and creationism together in one question, that this is more of a religious movement to get themselves in the school systems.

no that isnt right..

1 day to god is 1000 years to us AND 1 day to us is 1000 days to god. so it cancels

and it says in the bible that you cant see the the face of god too so its all contradictory, except you may say that the 1000 days part is just an exception

You either believe god started the ball rolling about twelve to fifteen billion years ago, or you don't believe in god, because evolution is a proved fact, beyond all doubt.
