They're the most easily accessible due to having so many locations.

They have very competitive prices, and often have very good sales and rebate offers. (at least when I've shopped for stuff)

They have the widest selection of products, from computers to DVDs to refrigerators to clock radios! (Not to mention great snacks and candy! *chuckle*)

They have salespeople who are always around when you need to find one, who don't treat you dissfully if you're only making a small purchase, and who really know their stuff and can answer just about any question. (I sometimes feel I'm being "talked down to" in other stores).

They have reasonably priced extended warrantees and they truly stand by their products and warrantees (I know this from experience; I had to have my digital camera serviced and Best Buy went above and beyond to help me.)

I can't believe that the person above me said he/she has never known anyone to walk out of Best Buy "satisifed". I've never walked out of there DISsatisfied, and believe me -- I'm VERY particular about retail stores and will not hesitate to tell people if I find fault with a store. But with Best Buy, I really have no complaints!

Amazingly I have never purchased anything from a Bestbuy.

However, I see really neat sales in the flyer that comes to my house. I always intend to.

Nothing. Think the costumer stinks. Haven't shopped there since I returned a gift that didn't work and they charged me 10% of the purchase price because the box had been discarded(Christmas Present). That was 10 yrs ago.

I'm a woman married to a Best Buy fanatic. I think it's because they have a wide variety of products, plenty of salespeople, but they're not pushy (as compared to Circuit City and Sears, for example, places I dislike going into). You can go into Best Buy and the salesperson can teach you all about the product you're looking at before you even buy it. Plus it's marketed itself to men as a cool place to buy things. Lastly, they have ideal locations. They seem to be in good, easy to get to places.

They're prettier. lol j/k for me it's because my mom works there, and my sister used to. They treat their employees really well (for the most part). They get a discount of 5% over cost. They have EVERYTHING electronic under one roof too, that helps. Honestly I don't know, it's always clean looking in there to me, and I'm sure that my mother's brainwashed me some. ;-)

If they don't offer the best price I usually go someplace else. I hate the restocking fee they charge if I try to return something.

Price, quality, variety, and customer support. They sell so much volume that they can afford to charge lower prices. People are also more familiar with them, so people tend to gravitate toward establishments that they feel most comfortable with.

I have yet to hear of a person who walked out of that store satisfied.
