I understand your dilema. I used to call my hair "the low frow" because it would hang but get puffy. Try Envia products for your hair. I found it a relief to finally find something that worked for my type of hair.

By the way, my hair is growing down my back now.

Your hair sounds like it's really dry. There are a lot of different products you can try depending on your hair texture. I put olive oil in my (thick, curly) hair before I wash it once a week, which helps. You probably don't want to shampoo or blowdry your hair every day if you can help it, and you should try leave-in conditioners to help with the frizziness. This should also make your hair healthier, which will prevent breakage, and (hopefully) help your hair get longer faster.

If you want straight hair, get a ceramic straightening iron (unfortunately, the more expensive ones, like the Chi, really do work better - check out the ones at folica.com). If you want to go curly or wavy, put product in your hair while it's wet, then let it air dry without touching it too much.

I have the SAME problem. What I do is make sure to wash my hair at night, that way in the morning it has natural oil that will keep it from being so puffy... also at salons they sell products that will weigh it down (Biosilk). I've also heard of this new stuff called hair tape... which is supossed to work really well.

Just wash it at night, in the morning straighten your hair, then apply the product. You're hair should be much flatter.

Try not to let it bother you so much.. chances are that other people are admiring your hair while you're hating it.

Hey!!Come down!
I've got the perfect solution for ya! Just follow my steps and your hair will look a lot better after it.

1. Try usin a shampoo, conditioner, and treatment for sponged or puffy hair.

2.(home remedies)After you wash your hair, (instead of the treatment) try using mayonnaise or some smashed avocado.
Leave it in for 20-30 min. And rinse it.

3.Honey!If treatments for your hair to grow don't work, you need patience, and anyway short hair is cute too!
It's easier to maintain healthy, easier to brush, etc..

hope I helped you

Getting a regular cut makes it grow faster.
I know it doesn't make sense but it is true.

Ask your stylist how to fix your hair. Ethnic hair is different from Caucasian hair so the answer will be different depending on what kind of hair you have. That's why a stylist can help.

when your hair is dried, you can flatten it with a flat iron. make sure you use a conditioner before and after you dry your hair. if your hair is curly, you may consider having it chemically straightened. go to your nearest salon and see if they can advise you.
good luck
