oh it would be very nice if all the worlds religions would be accepting of each other and quit hating and warring but the main appeal of religion is to be one of "The Chosen Ones", to be one of the only ones to know THE TRUTH. you can't have an exclusivity club without someone to exclude. you can't be "special" if everyone is accepted by "God". you wouldn't have a justification to take land and resources by force if "God" wasn't on your side. It's sad to be such a cynic but unless the human species has a collective epiphany it will be the same as it ever was.

I agree with that. But I don't believe we should have a uniform religion. I think no religion at all is the key to the human species survival.
All religions should seek the truth about the universe (the bible or the Qu'ran is not truth) as it is written by man and contains many fallacies. How often is science taught with religion?? NEVER! Religion is too afraid science will debunk it. That is just from what I have seen as a catholic. I was rushed into the catholic "faith" faster than I could learn about the Universe, physics, chemistry, anthropology, geology, mathematics, biology, philosophy, logic etc etc. Once i had common knowledge of these things my decision was EASY. I became liberated and have lived my life 4 times better than I would have had I still been a theist.
It's amazing what a little knowledge can do. I now know that we only get 1 shot at life and that's it. Everyday I live my life to the fullest trying to help others and take care of this planet for future generations.
Science proves that we'll be here as long as our universe will allow or until our own technology destroys ourselves. 1 shot, make a good run.
Don't waste your time with prayers or services, prayers & service are for self consciousness and self confidence. Carpe Diem your Sundays instead of being trapped in a church. Do something for the community or take care of the planet.
Religion is just another way to not think globally. It is a detriment to society and culture of the planet.

we should all come together and be friends. aside from religion, everyone already has differnt views etc and every other issue and yet get along or are cool with eachother but dont hang out. people of all faiths should love eachother even though they have different beliefs in who God is. My best friend is Muslim and yet I'm Christian and we get along really good and at the same time she has different views on who God is. I was even with a whole bunch of Muslims today for free Ramadon dinner and we got along really good and I wish that people of every faith could get along like that in society

My opinion is that all people regardless of which religion they follow needs to forget the religion and remember God. We should all be doing His will, not our own and not what a religion or pastor says. If we can all come together as one united under God and do His will, there will be peace. If we are all believers of the same God, it makes no difference regarding religion. God does not ask anyone to follow a religion, religion is man made, not God made. Being united together in the Body of Christ will bring peace and love and harmony to this world

The whole point of each religion is its exclusivity. Any one outside the religion is going to hell and considered evil.
Ther's no way they'll get together because they are after the same market share.
It's like asking Coca Cola and Pepsi to be best friends.

No community alone can make peace on earth. Hindu, Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Yahudis, Parsis are all the branches of one tree. The Tree is God. Every tree has fruit but every fruit has his own size, colour, weight etc. The need is just to improve ourselves. The world shall automtically be a place of peace.

No, because Christ said there would be many faiths, including many who will claim to speak in his name. Mixing with other religions is how the New Israelites (Christians) fell away from his teachings.
