if the football player is at the college on a scholarship which most of them are then they have to maintain a pretty high GPA. Its not like being in high school where they can just skate by hey have to work very hard for their grade because on top of the study time they have all the practice and games as well. And there are quite a few pro players that have finished college with degrees. Because contrary to what some believe football may be there main focus and greatest joy lots of them realize the chances of going pro are sometimes slim and they also think about what would happen if they were to become injured and lose their football careers.
