Video Gaming is not a sin. But if just to play the games, you have to miss prayers and religious duties, even video games can be a form of deviation by Satan.

I'm pretty sure He does, I can't recall any Bible verses at the moment, but I can say a few things about it. If your obsessed with playing video games instead of pleasing God and doing His will... What assurance do you have that your saved? Where is your fruit is what I'm getting at.

Do you have a guilty conscience about it?

If you are obsessed with something, it is likely you have in a sense made it into a "god." That would certainly be sin.

You might lose some friends if you spend all your time inside playing games. It's a detriment to your mind. Get out and do something active with your mind. Put it to reality instead of fantasy world.
But your choice is your choice. Good Luck beating CounterStrike 8 million.

in its self no . but it is taking you away form time to study more about your religious beliefs.
Obsession would be the better word I agree. They can lead to the neglect of the physical body and Soul by getting to involved in them to eat and sleep properly . It takes a lot of will power to limit your use of these games.
