Maybe he is just trying on some new words for size, it doesn't necessarily mean anything about your relationship, he might just have had that realisation you get sometimes that hearing yourself speak moment that makes you wonder about the words you are using like cool, or sweet, and wether there is any other thing you can say in its place because if a lot of things are cool that it sounds weird to say it fifty times, there has to be other alternatives. This might be a deepening of your relationship, hun might be a higher level of intimacy, or maybe it means he grown more comfortable with you, hun is much more sort of relaxed than baby - baby is a bit more staged. But then it might mean he is too relaxed and will start to take you for granted but then the speculation could go on all day so I wouldn't torment yourself to much just become one with hun and see where it leads. Now is not the time to worry about it, it is more something you look back on in retrospect as a turning point when where the turning point led has been revealed, you never know it might lead to marriage.

Don't think of it as too much. Guys like to say different phrases for short periods of time. I usually get a song stuck in my head for an entire day and then change it the next day. Or say a word each time I score a touchdown. And it changes every now and then. He just wants to know how you'll react to hun, rather than baby. But if you like baby better, then tell him! :D He won't get mad at all.

It shows growth and maturity in the relationship. Baby is an often used pet name. It also rarely is continued to be used for someone who a person has deeper feelings for. Hun is short for honey, something sweet. It shows a relationship developing and growing deeper.

So it means he does not feel the same way, he has stronger feels than before.

It means that now he loves you even more because hun is something that is reserved for a very close relationship, where Babe could be anyone!

i used to love it when my man called me Girl, then it went to baby...then honey...as the years went by, the names became deeper, i think he is loving you more than when you were his baby...honey or hon...has a lot more feelings then you just being his baby...trust me, the only thing that has changed is his feelings for you...they are now on a deeper level..nothing to worry about....now when he starts calling you by some bad names...then you might wanna start worring....
