When Jesus Christ rose again from the death, his mortal body has changed to immortal.
Jesus Christ asked Mary not to touch him and said He has not went to the father.
This means his mortal body has not changed to Immortal by the time he appeared to Mary Magdalene.
Later we see Jesus Christ appeared to his disciples when they were sitting in a locked room.
This time he had a spiritual form after going to the father. So that he could come in to a locked room.
He also let Thomas to feel his wounds. That means he had a heavenly body that can be both felt and cant felt.
1 Corinthians 15 : 42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;
43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.
If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"[e]; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.
47 The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.
48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.
49 And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we[f] bear the likeness of the man from heaven.
50 I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—
52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."

Jesus is called the first born from the dead in Rev.1:6. He came up a spiritual body, but He could appear in bodily form.
To be born again means to be born spirit & no longer flesh & blood. A flesh & blood being can die but a spirit being cannot.

The question really get's down to Angel body or Human?
I don't think that human bodies will exist in heaven. We're told we will recieve a new form like that of an angel, but it refers to is the genderlessness and more spirit-likeness. An angel can stand right in front of you, touch you and you touch them, and they will prove to be as physically there as the chair you're sitting in right now.
Yet, they can transcend, disappear, etc. because they are not bound to this physical world. Our bodies were made from the dirt.
I'd think Jesus' body is angel like, and He could still have the scars if He wanted (He's God afterall!)
Edit: I more or less meant what Martin S said. Hehe.

The answer is in the Christian bible. He traslated both His physical body and Soul and passed into Heaven. Yes that would be to idenitfy Him as the real thing and not just a trick of SATAN.And it was a spear not a sword. it is now called the Spear of DESTINTY. And is still being sought for as is the Grail ( also called the cup of the last supper)and some other items.

I believe it also says in there that the deformaties in our bodies will be know more, that our bodies will be perfect. We won't hunger, we won't be sick, won't be missing any legs, etc... I think it could be spiritual, but who knows until we're lucky enough to get there. God is made up of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a part of the Blessed Triad. And the Holy Spirit is or can be in all of us. That is what I read, and choose to believe. I know when he returned to earth in bodily form that they said they could see the nail mark etc..but, I don't recall reading that when we go to heaven we could see them on him.

Well considering that He was in bodily form when He was talking to His disciples before then, I think it might be safe to assume He was defiantly in bodily form when he ascended into heaven.

According to the Bible it was in bodily form. Come on people, this is too easy.
Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
John 20:25The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
John 20:26And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: [then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace [be] unto you.
John 20:27Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
John 20:28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!!

Jesus changed into God wrapped in flesh. The Holy Spirit is God's spirit and it truly is interior of us. Jesus reported that if he did not go then they Comforter (or Holy Spirit) does no longer be able to go back. contained in the second one financial disaster of Acts the Holy Spirit descends on those contained in the better room. to say that Jesus did not ascend to heaven in spirit is quite off the mark. he's spirit and flesh, as are we. yet, the Holy Spirit is right here and in heaven. i comprehend that muslims trust that Jesus turned right into a prophet, no longer the son of God. they trust he will go back back and initiate healing human beings and all that....which I truly ought to tell them -- he already did that! it truly is not any longer new.
