I love England and France but it's hard to choose. I just got back from a trip to Scandinavia and Russia. Don't miss the treasures of the czars at the Hermitage and the Peterhof Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia.

First off, FlaCB (your first responder)-YES, you need to say why and then go out and see the world!
As for my favorite, I haven't been there yet-as I know there is somewhere, off the beaten path, that will rise up. That is the best part of what you are doing-go with the flow of what you stumble upon-those are always the best experiences!
E-mail me if you want more details about specific places.

Hong Kong!

I live in Los Angeles and have worked in NYC and Edinburgh Scotland ...

Hong Kong was a blast. I was there in June during the World Cup games -- the bars were overflowing and everyone was having a ball. I'd go back in a heartbeat (if I got paid to go, lol).

Austria is beautiful but a little expensive. Another great place I would love to go back to is Prague in the Czech Republic. Love the culture, the castles, the churches, and the crystal glass (which is everywhere!!!) and Cheap!! If you love music and architecture you can't miss this city on your list!
