No, I don't avoid any questions except for those that are foolish and unlearned and that gender strife.

2 Timothy 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

As to being saved by the Lord's second coming.

James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

In a world of 6 billion people and counting the question of forced abortion and sterilization of women may have some consequence since it's already taking place in some areas. Oh, wait, you mean that isn't supposed to matter? Yeah, you'd better rephrase the question.

So i can't answer this because it doesn't apply to me, but I noticed that a lot of people were wondering what you mean. Not sure if this is it, but it makes sense to me, and this is how I interpret it...

The person that posed the question feels that, in his general experience...

Most Christians seem to avoid talking about, thinking about, and debating questions of true consequence to the world at large... he is wondering whether you (referring to most christians... not all, but most... in his experience) choose instead to focus on issues that are important on a much smaller scale? or are these larger questions avoided because you feel no need to address them as you believe in a second coming of christ in which we will all be saved...

I seldom avoid questions and controversy has nothing to do with it. My answers are usually very unpopular with a lot of "thumbs down" marks. The truth is often very unpopular but I'm not going to Hell for anyone.

And we will Not be saved by the second coming. If you are saved when it happens, its because you already were before He got here. When Jesus came the first time it was to bring salvation to man. When He returns it will not be to bring salvation, but judgment. You better get ready now because His return will be as a thief in the night....it will catch us all off guard and by surprise.

no, we r like anyone, know home grown current affairs better than global news. we can share easily on thing we personally experience but global stuffs usually more in the territory of international christian evangelist or speakers.

we won't all be saved coz we all need to be saved by JC now so we can meet up with him when He comes. however we (all human) will recognise him coz the 2nd coming is totally glorious & awesome.

I don't avoid present issues about abortion nor do I ignore other issues thru much needed prayer this world will change if we come together before JESUS comes back.

Christians are to face each question of consequence such as abortion, the death penalty, euthanasia, etc.

There is no cheap grace. FACE EVERYTHING!

Sorry, I don't understand your question. It sounds like it should be an interesting question, but the wording is awkward to me.

Maybe add a little narrative for clarity?

Not at all. I publicly profess that I'm anti-abortion whenever it applies. I value all human-life and so does the Creator of all life.
