I think so, but the subjectivity to the semantic of "destruction" comes into play here ... I mean in the sense that creation, preservation and destruction are all inherent both to life and form...
If you are extending to ask , "Are war and murder endemic to humanity" ... I feel the current conditions make these endemic ... but I feel there is the slightest of possibilities (a hope) that these conditions may some day change ..

Well, yes. But cosmic interaction/collision is more likely to terminate the human race more than man-made difficulties. The sun will not shine forever. Recently the light from a star that exploded 470 million years ago was detected by earth telescopes. The explosion was so huge that if it had happened in the Milky Way (us) the entire galaxy would most likely have been destroyed. Interaction with the right comet or asteroid, like 65 million years ago and its all over.

both 2 issues. some style of animal may evolve into smart beings like apes did into people and it will be like it truly is now or the earth may be the way it may were without people. Forests and jungles. each and every of the extinct animals that were wiped out by people may nonetheless be round.
