Christians would rather be hateful than scientific. By killing most of the cats in Europe, 3/4 of the human population died. The cats could have killed the rats.

why is the human race so resistant to civil evolution ..... seems they take a step forward and two steps backward....when will the mass ignorance ever end?

Yours is a rather simplistic look at the plague in Europe. It was brought about by a number of conditions including a mini ice-age that covered northern europe. The climate shifts caused food shortages and this led to a number of conditions including man coming into greater contact with rats. Poor sanitation and invading barbarians didn't help matters. There has still been no single known cause attributed to the plague, but a number of causes working together. As to why the Christians in Europe killed people, I'm not sure about Muslims, but with the Jews, they were not getting the plague for the most part. Since they were not dying at the rate of the Christians, they were blamed as the cause. The truth about the Jews though, is that their dietary and hygeine laws protected them from the plague. They did not come into contact with dead bodies. They washed their hands. They did not eat the foods that were prone to carry disease. They did not share their dinner utensils with gentiles. They engaged in ritual immersion in water. These things protected them, and that protection caused them to be targeted by the mobs.

Sounds like this could be in the History section. But, sigh, I guess there are some present day examples that are not too nice. Someone said, When Christians follow their religion people live and when Muslims follow their religion [literally] people die.

I go with collin C .. Some self-proclaimed christians use the name of Jesus and the religion to cause some bad image to their own God n Religion. Shame shame!

Ignorant Christians can do just as much damage as ignorant Muslims.
Therefore, we should fight against ignorance, and not attack each other's beliefs.
