Let's be realistic, there are some who have babies & it doesn't seem like their bodies are affected. Then there are those of us, whose body will never be the same. You will never regret having your baby, whether or not your body stays the same. More than likely it will change. I've heard those saying if you take care of yourself it won't change or it's an excuse to be flabby. That's bull***t. I only gained 20lbs for both my pregnancies & I took good care of myself. Lost the weight quickly & got back into my jeans within 3 weeks, but I had stretch marks (yes I used cocoa butter) & excess skin. My muscles were stretched. For me the only solution was a tummy tuck. The doctor told me no amount of excercise & sit-ups would take away that bulge in my belly. That choice may not be right for others but for me it was the only choice. I don't regret my girls and I don't regret my tummy tuck either. Now I have no stretch marks & I have a much flatter belly. Your baby will bring you joy no matter what. Just be healthy & do what's right for you.

I'm a year out and still don't look like I did prior. I don't want to discourage you, because I would NEVER give up my baby, and I'm actually trying for another one now, but I'll be honest, going from a size 1-5 to a 10 (now back down to a 6) is pretty rough. I've lost a lot of the weight, I gained probably 60 lbs during the pregnancy (and I'm a little person) but there is just this pouch that won't go away. And stretch marks, I really don't know if they go away or not, but not looking good for me. Overall, I'm not very happy with my body anymore, but it's more about whether your hubby still finds you attractive. Like I said, I'm trying for another, so nothing that it can do to my body is enough to even make me think twice about having another one. Children are great, and, if you work out and eat right, you can lose the weight again (I'm still trying to find the time to do that :) )

My body bounced right back with my first 2...start exercising now (with your doctors full input). It takes work but your belly and hips will regain their shape. Now Your breasts may be another matter (thank-god for the wonder bra). there is a cosmetic surgery called a laser Bra...I'm considering myself, designed to put the girls back where they should be.
I remember my biggest worry was that things "down there" would never shrink back to normal. Guess what, they did, and sex was even better than ever. I'm expecting #3 right now, and am not even worried about it anymore. And neither should you.

if you take care of yourself, your body should have minimal changes after you've had your babies, unless some unexpected hormonal problem pops up after you have them.

and no, you will care what your body looks like, any woman does...BUT, I would like to think the joy of your kids being here and healthy and happy and alive would let you see how silly a thought your question is in the future.

Your body doesn't have to go to **** just because you have kids. It might change some but not necessarily for the worst. Some women just give up and use that for an excuse to get flabby and out of shape. It's up to you.
