hold your composure . . .
take a breath, step outside . . .
then go back in, and calmly tell them that you don't appreciate their behavior, and you would like them to treat you appropriately.
If it happens again, let them know that the relationship is not working for you and you don't want to see them again.
By the way, where the frak is your man during all this? He should be standing up for you . . .

Anything said may haunt you later. Hang in there.
Unless they are abusive just hang in there.
Not alone- there are a lot of us out here with the same problem. In-laws who feel they can invade your life because they are older and wiser.
Hint: Someday they will become old, and need you. That day you decide to help them, or blow them off.
PS: Those who are saying your immature sounds like they have great in-law (their lucky).....or they may not the married, and have no idea what the hell they are saying. Kills me that they think they know you. You hardly said anything.

Might I suggest anger managment classes? These are people you are related to by marriage, if you had problems before you were married you should have at least attempted with your then future husband to iron them out. Your inlaws have just as much right to be who they are as you do being who you are. I suggest a bit of growing up on your part.

I am assuming that you have meet them before, Since they "ticked you off" before...what does your husband say? Was he there when this happened? will he stand up for you? From my experience, if he will not stand by you and defend you, you might as well just keep your mouth shut, without his help, you will just be seen as a mouthy *****. Talk to your husband before they get there and see where he stands.

Like another poster here, you sound painfully immature. Perhaps YOU tick THEM off, ever think of that? Rhetorical. Why you are so hostile (along with the other poster who wanted to find ways to kill her future mother-in-law) is beyond me, but I see disaster on the horizon for you BOTH. You are immature and sound like a brat. I pity YOUR inlaws and your fiance! Lot's of luck, dearie.

Hold your tongue and be polite and charming at all cost...it will make them wonder what you are up to and fear what you might be up to. Psychological warfare is a wonderful thing...
