Becasue he doesnt see you that way. Maybe he didnt want you to be that easy of a chase or no chase at all. I think you took the entire thrill out of it and is no linger interested, because if he liked you, he wouldnt have hesitated let alone NOT ANSWER!

Maybe he was pondering the ambiguity of what a more serious relationship means?
Be more specific when you direct questions like that at him.
Perhaps your version of a more serious relationship is very different than his.
Also when asking questions, it helps if you include the level of your relations with your boyfried (i.e. I'm a 14 year old girl who has been dating this guy for 2 months -Vs- I'm a 30 year old thrice married women who wants to take my relationship towards another failed marriage)

you know i think hes to afraid to have serious relationship with you maybe hes not too serious in your current relatioship in short he think that your not the right girl he will take serious...but you know, theres a lot of men....so dont hesitate to break himwho knows if he is planning to break you up at least you are the first to break him.....its his pride lost not yours

when he heard that he read to much into this and maybe he is not financially set to do that I mean if a baby happens to come along in time, well there you are... me I am not set up financially but getting there hopefully
