I eat as much as I can in the morning.. that's not much... Like today I had an egg sandwich, and a few slices of a pear. For dinner I had a tiny portion of rice, vegetables, and chicken. After fasting your stomach shrinks and you can't eat much without feeling sick. I drink as much water as possible, and go to bed as early as I can also... I also normally take a nap!

I think I eat less. Because generally I have 3 meals a day, but in Ramadan, I have 2 meals.
Staying up late at night is not necessary. Some Muslims sleep after they pray Isha and Taraweeh, at around 11. And wake up at 4 to eat Suhur. Some people choose to eat dinner at around 11 or 12 and don't eat Suhur before dawn, just pray Fajr. For my case, I am a computer geek, so on 1st Ramadan I found myself on computer, and suddenly it was 4:30, I had to eat Suhur.
