In order to prevent the spread of this fatal virus everyone on the planet is tested and anyone with this virus is quarantined. Of course some would have a problem with this but do you think it would ultimately eliminate the virus?

Yes I've seen Outbreak but I believe that was an airbourne virus. I'm talking about something that passed by interacting with fluids or something like that.

No. Haven't you ever seen the movie Outbreak with Dustin Hoffman. There would be no guaranteed way to quarantine a large number of people.

assuming we could identify everyone with the virus including variants, mutants and carriers, yes, however what are you going to do with the carriers after the others die? You can't keep them prisoner for being sick.
