Paper. It's just easier to me to carry and I can recycle the paper, the plastic I'd have to take somewhere.

I think it's great to have the option. Paper is recyclable and if it's disposed it's biodegradable, so it's a great choice.

Plastic is also recyclable, and while not biodegradable, it's more practical to use for other purposes. I recycle or throw out paper bags, but I keep plastic bags and use them to line small trash cans or to carry other items. But when I get an overabundance of plastic, it's back to paper when I have the choice.

BTW, I find that fewer and fewer places are even offering the option of paper.

Plastic!!! I live by myself and it is so much easier to carry in all the bags I have when they are in plastic. Also, I have had way too many problems with paper ripping on me when I am carrying it in!

I used to work in a grocery store and the elderly preferred paper in plastic because it made it more sturdier. I prefer a combination too, plus I use the bags for recycling.

Frankly, I prefer paper, but I usually get plastic because I'm given no choice.

Paper obviously .it is bio degestible and can be recycled easily. it does not pollute. Plastic may be good in many ways yet it is an evil which we cannot get rid of even if we want to.

I prefer to use paper than plastic. This is because plastic is non-biodegradable.

In terms of paying for things I prefer plastic. I never carry cash anymore.

Plastic can be used for garbage bags, so it saves money on that, not to mention plastic is more expandable and easier to crumple up to put inside another bag and save them for later purposes.
