rice - ting ting ting: cause it makes the noise hitting the pan
chips - crunch
corn on the cob- "nts snts" : that's the sound you make trying to suck it outta your teeth
taco bell -"ugh, rrrgh" : that's the sound it makes after a couple of hours and you're on the commode.

i live in connecticut and we refer to "pop" as "soda"
