During the plague, the unscientific Christians thought that cats caused the plague. Actually, it was carried by rats. So when they killed cats, these ignorant clowns did the worst thing they could do. They also said their eyes looked like the Devil. And they tortured them for hours before killing.

ARE CHRISTIANS EDUCATED AT ALL? 2 + 2 = 4. WHAT IS MY SOURCE? I READ IT IN A BOOK ABOUT CATS. ALSO, IT WAS MENTIONED IN A TV DOCUMENTARY ABOUT CATS. SEARCH THE NET, YOU WILL FIND OUT I AM RIGHT. THEN YOU CAN APOLOGIZE, CHRISTIAN.

Actually, the Black Death spread across areas that had no rats. So the Black Death was NOT the bubonic plague.

After reexamining the symptoms, some historians have concluded that the Black Death appears to have been Ebola (which we still cannot treat or cure, even today).

Now who is uneducated?

I suppose that the Europeans were doing the best that they knew how, considering the fact that it was the MIDDLE AGES, not the twenty first century, you know.

You sound a little retarded using modern medical knowledge to judge medieval people. Would the medieval Chinese or Africans know how to fight the disease? They didn't, even though they were not Christians. Lack of modern medical knowledge a thosand years ago had nothing to do with religion.

You are not too smart fella. The Roman Catholic Church does NOT represent all forms of Christianity across the board. The Roman Catholic Church IN THAT PARTICULAR AGE was responsible for that non sense.

And I might add that in those days, even so called atheists believed in unscientific nonsense. Scientists had some really way out ideas that was not anywhere near scientific by todays standards, ya silly know it all.

Well, I know that they used to whack them against walls, particulary in the scene where they're collecting up corpses and the guy wants to throw the old man on the cart, but he's not quite dead yet.

I know they used to burn them along with "witches", never heard of the crucifying, but it wouldn't surprise me. People were pretty ignorant about everything back then.

Larry, This tripe is beneath even you. . .care to post a link? Didn't think so. Your vitriolic denunciation of Christianity is childish.

Heavenly Father, I ask that you would unmask the enemy's deception over this person who is rebelling against you in doing this evil. Lord God, please stretch out Your mighty hand against his schemes and thwart his every move. Please draw him to salvation in Jesus Christ. Thank You Father. In Jesus Christ, Amen
