OK, i think that you need to go to a hair salon.... if you attempt to do this at your house without knowing what you are doing there is a very good chance that you are going to turn a nice shade of pumpkin orange. (it would be just in time for Halloween -ha ha)
but seriously, if your don't know what you are doing there is a very good chance you will turn orange.... go to your stylist and she will know how to get you to a nice blond.... you might pay a little bit more that box color but you will be better off

My hair used to be a sandy blonde, that is before I started gradually putting blonder streaks in my hair to highlight my bangs. Then I ended up using Clairol maxi to do my entire head. My hair used to be beautiful before I did it. Now it would take quite awhile to grow my hair back out!! My hair breaks regardless of the products I use. Have a professional do it the first time, I wish I had. But my hair still looks great. It is just higher maintenance to take care of my hair now. I have to use a ceramic iron to smooth my hair, because of the condition it's in today!!! Good Luck

chances are you'll go yellow. Blonde is really hard to achieve. I am a hairdresser and I can't get my hair a nice blonde, so I have givin up, and I stick to brown. Go to a hairdresser. Or just put in highlights and that will give you a lighter look. Put some right in front and you'll look blonde, and you won't have to redo it as much because your roots won't show as much.

I have dark brown hair, and it's not very long, so what works for me is pulling it through the frosting cap and putting the blonde hair dye on that way. It works out good for me. Good luck

If you are scared of the change, try a dark blonde shade and go lighter if need be.

I have had friends who have tried to go blonde with a home hair kit. My advice to you is to please get it done professional so you don't risk turning it orange by mistake.

don't do an all over dye. highlight it a few times. (over a period of weeks or months) and it will be a beautiful, natural looking blonde color. like mine. =)
