Good and evil are only concepts that we perceive, not constants of reality like positive and negative. If you see evil, that is because you are focused on it.

No, evil does not exist in the nature of things. Evil is in the lack of the good where there ought to be good.

Because without evil you can not have good. There has to be a balance. If there was no evil how would you even know what good was because there wouldn't be anything to compare it with. It would be like having an up without a down. You need both to exist to balance the other out and give you something to compare it to.

Consider the possibility that neither evil nor good exist, but only what is harmful or helpful.
Evil & good require a human perspective, at the very minimum, and even then people will disagree over their definitions. Since they are only perceptions, the evil & good lose their meaning.

For balance. Everything in the universe comes in pairs. Men and women, up and down, day and night...Good and evil. I dont believe in evil really, just that for good to exist there must be a balance of evil.

Evil does not exist in Nature at all.
Men cross the line of good into evil when they use the fear of pain or death to gain personal power and wealth.
When one overcomes the fear of pain and death, evil has no power.

Because without evil, there could be no good. Its the same thing as there can not be day without night. Good without evil, or god without the devil. There has to be a balance, or things can not exist.

When God first made the world, He declared in Genesis 1:31 "that everything was good". But in chapter 3, Adam sinned, and the whole world was cursed. Satan became the prince of this world, and rules here. But one day Christ is going to return to create a new world that will be perfect.

without evil, we wouldn't know what good is, I suppose.
Defining "evil" is a little more tricky. It likes to hide, sometimes in televangelists, who say the money they get every month from little old ladies social security checks is going to some hungry kids in Africa, when in fact it pays for his private diamond mines, planes, million dollar mansions, ect.
Other times it's plain to see, abuse of animals and people, exploitation of others, ect.
