How do you prepare yourself for speaking with God? Everything Jews do is a reminder of our relationship with God. All the rituals and traditions are beautiful ceremonies honoring God.

Did you have a full-immersion Baptism? If so, you might have experienced a similar feeling of that felt by Jesus when he bathed in the Mikvah prior to the arrival of the sabbath. Orthodox Jews of today still purify themselves in the Mikvah on Friday afternoons.

Purification is just one more of the many blessings Christians have never allowed themselves to experience. Jesus was born a Jew, died a Jew, preached Judaism, and practiced all the traditional rituals. It was Paul who cautioned against them.
